July 12, 2023 - Encore très fermé à l'ouverture mais s'est bien ouvert après 12h de carafe. Belle complexité aromatique, avec au début des notes de cire d'abeilles, puis d'agrumes (bergamote), de noix voire de poivre blanc. Très équilibré, fin et rien de dominant malgré la chaleur du millésime et les 14.5. Longueur extraordinaire, une belle bouteille! Aurait pu encore attendre, bien sûr...

May 20, 2023 - Dinner at Caroline's: Woolly and honeyed nose that led me to Chenin, but the colour was golden in colour and tasted like something from the ‘90s. Ripe fruit with high alcohol but had some distracting herbal notes and shrill acidity. Also had a strange oxidative, cider note. Interesting to try but wouldn’t buy one with my own money.
