    April 5, 2020 - Still in balance
Presumably over the top but still holding on
    Tannines are no longer there
    But smoothly drinking
With taste of Tobacco And Leather

Nice for a 25 yeor old

June 5, 2010 - Light crimson color. Notes of tobacco leaf, iron, lavender & flowers, and black cherry. Flavors of red fruit: cherries & currants, with somewhat chalky tannins. Touch of spice on the finish. Agree that this is in a nice place right now. 90-91 pts. Drink now - 2013.

December 28, 2009 - CdPs and Bordeaux (My place): nose: well balanced nose with good depth and tones of graphite, smoke, dark red cherries, cedar, cigar wrappers and some black currants. Showing great on the nose right now as it seems right in its sweet spot with its balance and depth

taste: excellent medium/full feel with good tannins and well balanced tones of dark red cherries, cedar, cigar wrapper, and black currants. Has a polished feel to it and all of the rough edges seem to be smoothed out

overall: This can easily go further, but is in a real good place right now. This shows off what some bottle age can do as there is a seamless quality to the wine. There was some bricking on the wine, but what was more noticeable was the more ruby tinge to the edges. This paired up well with some slow roasted lamb too

December 4, 2007 - Nice color, no signs of age. Nose, earthy and herbacious with lead pencil shavings and faint currants. A very pleasant wine to drink. Fruit and finish were slightly lacking hence my rating but very enjoyable none the less.
