  January 3, 2011 - Drinking great now, has the acidity and nose to last a bit longer. Beautiful cool toned WA syrah.

Only decanted it for about 15 min. before we started drinking it. I bet with an hour of decanting it would've softened up a bit more and whatever austere edges would've slipped away.

  October 5, 2008 - Wasn't as good as the last bottle. No decant, but still had the roasted tomato flavors. Resolved tannins and little acidity. Good Wash Syrah.

  May 22, 2008 - Oh I love Syrah with a few years of age on them. This wine had a huge nose of freshly roasted coffee and mushrooms. More flavors of coffee, oak and sour cherries. Mouthfeel on this wine was silky, but the finish didn't last terribly long. Would purchase again.
