Community Tasting Notes 6

August 25, 2017 - Strong nose of Chinese dried herbs and a lot of minerals! Quite acidic on the palate but very clean! Have to pair it with food, otherwise quite one dimension! Past its prime I suppose though bright ruby in colour, not tiring, quite healthy to say the least!

June 22, 2008 - Very pale in color. Something off in the smell. A little bit of fruit to start, would occasionaly finish o.k., and I'd think maybe something there, but then very unpleasant aftertaste. Fuel like. Poured bottle after an hour.

February 3, 2008 - Lithter and thin in color. Simple, minor fruit on the nose. On the palate, overall shallow and thin, very acidic and somewhat citrus. Medium tannins. Light on the fruit with a short finish. I had tasted before about 6 months ago and found much more fruit--green rasberry if I recall. I think it is closedright now, and hopefully, will improve. I would not open another bottle for at least 10 months.

August 1, 2007 - High in acidity, short finish, unbalanced. High price for what it is.
