March 24, 2024 - Clean nose, bright acidity and substantial on the palate. Plenty of tannins still around and not the most refined tannins. Showing younger than expected. Hopefully with aeration, tannins will be softer. Could be identified as from GC or NSG, robust with a few rough edges. Long finish with tobacco notes lingering on. Still long drinking window ahead.

July 21, 2023 - Dinner at Wah Lok. Better on the nose than on the palate, a bit lean from get-go and never did put on more weight. Previous 2 bottles were better.

May 29, 2023 - Teochew Clan dinner: Very elegant Jadot wine which is a bit surprising to say. But I guess that reflects the plot. I thought it was a 93 Gevrey or Chambolle 1er cru. Didn't feel like it had the concentration or density of a GC. Drinking very well currently.

December 15, 2022 - Similar to previous bottle few months ago except this bottle was showing even younger on the palate. Showing none of the excess acidity or harsh tannins for some producers in this vintage. Soft and fine tannins, very good density and length, definitely Grand Cru. Prime time now.

July 2, 2022 - PnP. ABV 13.5%. Another punt recently from one of my favorite vintages. Nose was not entirely clean initially but the faint cardboard smell disappeared very quickly and left with dark soils and flowers. High acidity of the vintage was obvious on the first sip, good density and length, Grand Cru alright. Still some tannins hanging around, drinking well now and should cruise at this level for a while. This continued to add weight and soften the tannins over 3 hours, actually got better and better, deserved an upgrade in score.
