August 4, 2023 - Just opened this wine and it is spectacular right now. I would say this is the perfect time to consume. Perfectly smooth with a lovely caramel finish.

October 29, 2022 - This is so well integrated now and truly exceptional. My comments from my first bottle still hold and I would have to think this still has several years of great sipping ahead if cellared properly.

September 14, 2021 - With tatami tuna. Caramel and some lemon on the nose. No orange as i had w the 2013. Nice oak treatment. Stone fruit. Long finish. Lovely

Brilliant yellow bordering golden. Aromas showing fresh cut pineapple, citrus, some butterscotch, and a touch of fresh minerality/stoniness and herbs to finish it off. Nice medium complexity and intensity to the overall aroma.
Flavours follow aromas, but toss in some fresh peaches.. Butterscotch is a bit more prevalent. Dry, tannins are nicely integrated and not really noticeable. Good balance, elegant wine, rounded corners. Minerality shows on the finish. Longish finish. Really a well made and delicious wine. Could easily age longer, but it is my last bottle. Probably one of the best chardonnays I have tasted all year. 96 points.

September 27, 2020 - This is pretty damn delicious and a truly exceptional chardonnay. Elegant and complex. Butterscotch, ripe pineapple, citrus. Acidity and minerality. All in beautiful balance with a long fruity finish that just leaves your mouth watering for more. Hard to believe this will get any better than it is right now. With wines like this being produced in this country from 40 year old vines, it has to make you believe that the best is yet to come when many of our wineries are already doing great things on <10 year old vines.
