May 31, 2023 - Much improved from when tasted on release when it had some somewhat bitter overtones. That is gone and while this wine is nothing super special it is solid as many lesser 2015 Bdx right bank satellite property wines are. This bottle was “selection vielle vignes” with the eye catching green label. Nice simple but pleasant aroma. Simple rustic but sufficient red berry, some mushroom and slightly spicy flavor and quite a good match with grilled chicken and veggies. Certainly a reasonable QPR at $13. Drink soon but should hold up a few more years. 87-88

September 11, 2020 - I selected this bottle due to its "drink now" status. Drink by was to 2019. Here it is 2020 and it's still drinking just fine. Moderate alcohol on the nose which I'm sure an 30-60mins of decanting would help with. We consumed from the bottle immediately after opening. We enjoyed it with sous vide boneless chicken breasts(4 hours at 146) that were finished in butter/cast iron and completed with a veggie stock pan cream sauce. Oven roasted fresh sliced Brussels with a balsamic and walnut glaze and gold potatoes with fresh dill. When a meal comes together like this, this wine almost took a back seat. Eating slow and having seconds allowed the wine to open up. Still very dry but quite enjoyable. This vintage may have a good couple years left to enjoy, but if you have one I'd drink it now. 343+227RIP

July 18, 2019 - Dark red fruits, dark cherry; red fruit, strawberry, tobacco and leather, slate nose. Earthy, slate and stone, light strawberry, dark fruits, underripe plum, heavy tannins, medium-long finish. Drink with fatty foods.

June 27, 2019 - You could do worse than this with a week night burger. That said, I prefer the terrific bargain Coppola Clarets that can be had for $10-$12. Dark ruby red color. This showed decent BDX typicity with earthy, submerged red fruit, lots of cedar, herbs and some licorice. Paid $12 and that's about right for what this is. 60% Merlot /40% Cabernet 13.5% alc
