Community Tasting Notes 10

August 5, 2018 - No idea of the grapes, but I would guess cab franc is a component due to the pepper notes on the finish. Smells great, quite elegant, flowers (camomile), watermelon, salt. Can finish a bit hot if not chilled thoroughly. Almost didn't bother due to the frosted glass bottle, but glad I did. An honest wine.

May 6, 2018 - This is a lovely quaffer for the summer sun - went through a couple of magnums at a garden party and it was a crowd pleaser. Very pale in colour, subtle strawberry and peach aromas. Best served very chilled. My kind of rose for easy drinking.

January 30, 2018 - Love this very pale pink rose. It has bright acidity with citrus and maybe strawberries/raspberries, touch of peach. We had it with a milder shrimp and grits and it was delicious. Definitely a wine for an aperitif or light seafood, chicken salad type dishes. Anything too spicy would take from the subtleties of the wine.

September 3, 2017 - Excellent Rosé. Des saveurs d'orange et de pèche blanche. Le nez est subtil et le vin léger et vif. Je recommande fortement pour l'apéritif

July 31, 2017 - Pale, just a hint of pink in the glass, bone dry, expressive fruit, citrus, blog orange, tart raspberry, leading to a steely long finish.
