  March 19, 2019 - Bottles have some variation. 2 out of 6 so far corked and used for cooking (undrinkable but not so bad as to be uncookable). The best plush and delicious, but around half not so amazing, but nevertheless perfectly good. Unacceptable poor quality of cork. When not corked, 89-93-ish, depending on the bottle.

  February 26, 2019 - Not as lush as the first one I tried, but still very good. The flush of youth must have still been in that bottle and this now would benefit from a little time. See previous note(s). 91+

  November 12, 2018 - Second tasting of this from the second bottle bought at the same time. This one is somewhat woody. Lacking the ripe plush texture of the first. Good fruit, but very rasiny, walnutty and on the first few steps towards oxidation. Heaps and heaps of sediment, unlike the other bottle. Really a completely different wine. The cork had sunk into the neck a few mm, and almost certainly this is heat damage. Ah well. :/

  November 8, 2018 - Dark. Deep scents of voluptuous fruit. A happy taming of the bright cassis of Cabernet with the deep exotic chocolate and spice of Mavrud. I need more of this, though it is rather expensive 93+
