April 8, 2024 - Impossibly fresh at 10 years old. Dynamic and zippy with a crunchy dark fruit verve that jumped out of the glass. A remarkable weeknight surprise.

August 29, 2023 - Opened on a whim to have with some mid week hamburgers - this was tasty and bold enough to stand up to the spicy burgers and coleslaw. Not hugely complex but it sure tastes good with some food. Nice juicy fruit and well balanced tannins.

August 24, 2023 - Great Cab! No issues here. Hard to imagine it could get much better. Drink now.

November 28, 2022 - My last bottle of this vintage, I usually buy more of this one, but for some reason I passed on this vintage and ended up getting 2 bottles from a big discounter. I brought it to a NYC Indian restaurant dinner with my wine group and we all really enjoyed it. It went very well with the lamb entrees that we ordered.

October 30, 2022 - Deep and dark colors, not showing much sign of age.
On day one the aroma was cut through with a acidic and sharp note, but on day two has a cedar and potpourri character with dark fruit and fresh turned earth.
Day one the flavors were a bit disjointed, but seemed to have all the correct components. Day two is magic, gentle dusty tannins, deep ripe fruit, the tertiary elements that come with a well aged cabernet. This wine is great! If you open and don't like it, pop in the fridge over night and try again tomorrow, well worth the wait.
