January 17, 2024 - Big, supersexy and muscular wine. Dark, nearly black color, engaging nose. Spicebox, pepper, black fruits plus sophisticated sweetness. Incredible intensity. Yummy and tempting. You can’t resist: whenever you try to stop drinking, you are forced to get back - the wine does not allow you to escape. Long lasting, sweet but balanced finish. Best Zinfandel I ever had.

October 19, 2023 - Bold, even for a Zinfandel. Very fruity driven but once opened for a few hrs, became more earthy over time. The higher alchohol % was obvious, but didnt distract

February 11, 2023 - Showing a little age on the nose, here this definitely says Zinfandel, brambly black fruit, high octane and glycerin evidend, a juicy acid and somewhat out of balance alcohol, a touch of fennel, yes a little more structured than many zins but after the two vintages of Jackass Vineyard this was a rustic cousin at best.
