December 18, 2023 - From magnum, last BTF wine from this now discontinued vineyard in any varietal or format. Brown at the edges, slightly cloudy appearance. Fairly intense nose, wonderful dark fruit and tea. Am struggling between "lithe" and "light" for mouthfeel, but definitely a longer and more satisfying finish after 90 minutes of opening vs. initial 30 min impressions.

November 2, 2023 - Last bottle of this vintage, home from work with Val's chicken Marbella. Splash decant, drank over an hour.
Notes from 2019: "Rich ruby color, mildly cloudy. Expressive nose showing bright raspberry, cherry, floral pastille. Palate showing black raspberry, rhubarb, baking spice/cinnamon and earth notes. Picking up some black tea through the mid palate along with secondary red fruit. Tannins smooth but still present. medium weight, long finish."
Notable on this tasting: black raspberry, rhubarb, black tea. Lithe texture, light on the palate but fruits still expressive.
Great wine from an underrated Oregon vintage. Should drink at this level for a few more years - however, not likely to improve. Would drink over the next few years -
