February 11, 2023 - Dinner at Highland. Screw-cap. Drank in Gabriel Standart.
Appearance is clear, medium intensity, lemon yellow colour. Legs.
Nose medium+ intensity, with initial reductive flintiness, chalk mineral, citrus lime, ripe stone fruits emerge with more air. Developing.
On the palate, dry, high acidity, medium+ alcohol (13.8%), medium body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of chalk and flint minerality, citrus lime, rounded honey lemon, ripe peach stone fruits and melon with more air. Some slight MLF cream feel. Long finish.
Very good quality. Might peak in another year or two. Good Chard coming out from Mornington.

December 17, 2019 - Rich & full but still has good energy, about as developed as I'd like it. Slightly lactic vibe on the finish.

September 11, 2018 - subtle but distinctive and long - wonderful - lovely wine - not sure it is for the very long hall so drink within the next two or three years

January 13, 2018 - Clear pale straw. Nose is clean and medium. White blossom, nectarine, some tropical fruits, lime, vanilla. Dry with tantalizing medium (+) acidity. Body is medium. Flavour is medium (+) and palate has lemon lime, green apples and a silky texture. Finish is medium. Wine is well balanced and its bright lively acidity will be perfect companion for food. Almost feels like a creamy warm chardonnay with the acidity of a sauvignon blanc.

January 6, 2018 - Full aromas of creamy vanilla and butter with an undertone of pronounced spice. This continues on the palate with a second peak of tart Granny Smith apple skin and pepper. The flavour develops over time in the glass, with flickers of almond and stone fruits like nectarine.
