July 31, 2020 - Deep burgundy and medium body. I LOVE this slightly ripe style of Oregon pinot noir, so high points from me for that. Black berries and a touch of blueberry. A smidge of rosemary and cedar. The palate is true to the nose. Fruit forward without being sweet. Not as long on the finish as I'd like. Enjoyed by our red and white wine lovers alike!

November 4, 2019 - Walt does it again with this impeccable, intense and memorable vintage and vineyard. On the extracted side, it only emphasizes the wonders of this vineyard, which as of 2019 is 100% owned and farmed by Walt, as the Clos Pepe owners have retired and decided to sell their legendary plot to the one winery that has been able to capture the essence of these legendary grapes in their vision. Big in the glass and in the pleasure it delivers, the wine has balance, intensity, aromas, and finish that has to be sampled to be believed.

September 3, 2019 - Surprisingly big PN from SRH. Dark with ripe strawberry on the nose. Some spice and tannins seem in a good place right now.
