December 29, 2012 - Opened in conjunction with a disappointing '06. This bottle is much better. Typical classic Cali Pinot funk. More subdued cherry and red fruited profile along with some spice. No heat at this time but bottle still a little cool.

August 30, 2011 - My last bottle and I'm sad to see that they are gone. In a word, elegant. Soft flavors of black fruits, spice, cinnamon and orange peel. Tannins were so soft as to be almost nonexistant but still providing a structure and depth of flavor that didn't quit. Probably on its downside, but lots of life right now. No noticeable funk, but some earthy undertones that made this wine very memorable. My son took on sip and sat pack and said "I like this."
