March 23, 2024 - Very tight, tannic. Needs time (2hrs+?) to open up. Not sure that there is much upside from here.

    March 20, 2023 - Similar to my 7/28/22 note.

July 28, 2022 - Blackberry, dark cherry, with hints of black pepper and forest floor. Agree with others that it is weightier than most St Josephs but very enjoyable with spicier beef dishes. Not enough acidity to assure improvement with age...drink next 4 years.

September 11, 2020 - A soulful St. Joseph, heavier and fuller-bodied than what I’d consider typical as others have noted, but plenty of character.

October 14, 2017 - Decanted two hours. Simple but excellent. Great depth of fruit, some blackberry and pepper notes. A bit heavy, but in good balance. I do not see acidity and structure for long term aging, but certainly good for several more years. Well done.
