May 21, 2023 - Had two left, opened the first one yesterday to let it breathe...to my discontent it was corked. Decided to open up the last one and it was fine .
Gave it 1.5 hours in the decanter before the first glass, this developed nicely since my last one 2 years ago.
Nose was packed with blackberry and red fruit, slightly minty tones with some licorice in the background and Mediterranean herbs.
Nice intensity in the mouth , the wine has volume and a slightly grapey quality to it and a chalky mineral edge, super smooth and no tannins, no oak and a bright acidity that carries the flavors to a decent length finish.
This will keep another 5 years for sure but ready to go with a bit of carafe time.

June 26, 2022 - I’ve had issues with the Foradoris wines past 10 years. A few of the Sgarzons have been muted and numb, not really given anything either in nose or mouth. But the 2015 was a completely different thing after half a decade in the cellar. Extremely nuanced nose: grape, sage, rosemary and viol. Blindly the reference would have been a Barolo high on acidity with no new oak, rather than the Syrah references Teroldego often gets compared with. In the mout mid+ length and great balance with a nice acidity. This one needs at least 7 years in the cellar and a two hour decant to show its potential. 91 - 92.

June 14, 2021 - Delicious wine with a dark almost brooding colour, "soft" nose with hints of violet, ripe blackberry dominant in mid palate, with lesser tones of liquorice and raspberry jam. As others have notice a slight spritz and zip, good structure and balance, medium finish. Still great on day 3. Probably another 3-5 yrs to full maturity. Very enjoyable and looking forward to my remaining bottles.
