Community Tasting Notes 11

November 24, 2015 - This is what happens when you don't drink something in the appropriate drinking window....bad!! I am a little surprised a 2005 didn't hold up a little better, but part of the process in working down the old bottles in my cellar!

May 10, 2012 - Unfortunately improperly stored and temperature variation got the best of this bottle. Heard good things though,,, :(

January 4, 2012 - This was a very good Pinot. Expressive flavor (which I like in a Pinot) and not too fruity. It was definitely nearing the end of its life as a good wine. We had a similar bottle a couple of years ago and it had not more complexity.

March 29, 2010 - Did not decant. Light ruby color, standard Pino nose, medium body, fair fruit. Nothing special, a bit thin for my taste but nothing off. Drink now.

January 30, 2010 - Popped and poured, typical Pinot color, light ruby with a brown tint, not much bouquet, medium body, flavors evenly distribute in mouth, light tannins, no objectionable aftertaste, everyone liked it, will buy again for $20.
