February 5, 2023 - Impactful and memorable Shiraz here. Deeply flavoured with dark berry fruits but all held in check with some wonderfully gravelly tannins. Lots of meaty, pepper and clove spice to bringing interest. Some real length here and the acidity is perfectly pitched - this is not a heavy Shiraz in any way. Just great drinking.

December 8, 2021 - Dark berries, plum, Liquorice n slight peppery. Medium to heavy body n velvety tannin.. good Shiraz!!

    April 4, 2021 - Deep red.
Ripe blackcurrent fruit. Nice vanillan oak lift.
Sweet black fruit. Ripe. Firm tannins. Showing more ripeness with breathing. Reminiscent of Eden Valley.
Very well made. Beginning to drink.

March 15, 2021 - Under screwcap. Very good freshness here, clean, unbridled fruit, some spice, white pepper, an attracting lightness of being.

November 27, 2020 - Zoom tasting of Australia and New Zealand wines, hosted by Auriol Wines, Hampshire, UK. This wine was introduced by Michael Hill Smith, who joined in live from Adelaide Hills. Dark cherry colour. Lovely nose, spice, fruity, eucalyptus. The palate is rich and dusty, medium bodied, well balanced, plummy, blackcurrants. Quite long. Less oakiness than I expected.
