  • Fulcrum Likes this wine: 92 points

February 9, 2024 - Fantastic wine, drinks more like Joseph Drouhin than Oregon. Tons of acidity left, but not overpowering. Lemon zest, stone fruit and mineral notes in the mouth. Citrus and stone in the nose. Can easily hold up for another 3- years

  • GoBlue2002 Likes this wine:

    July 17, 2022 - Coravin pour.
Quite different from my oaked cali chard preference, and we liked it!
    Lemon, mineral, brightness.

  • WineTally Likes this wine:

50% in tank and 50% in barrel. Complete malolactic.
    13.9% Abv.

March 12, 2021 - In a good drinking window. Still primary. More expressive when consumed just below room temp.

    Full Pull Roserock, 7/27/2018

(Roserock Drouhin Eola-Amity Hills Chardonnay) Hello friends. Domaine Drouhin bought their first 225-acre Oregon estate in the Dundee Hills in 1987. Veronique Drouhin (fourth generation winemaker and the force behind Domaine Drouhin Oregon) had just graduated from the University of Dijon and completed the 1986 harvest with Adelsheim, Bethel Heights, and Eyrie Vineyards. At that moment in time, the future of this family was so clearly Oregon. Now, just over 30 years later, DDO has released the second vintage of wines from their newest parcel of land—a 279-acre vineyard called Roserock in the Eola-Amity Hills. DDO has played a deeply developmental part in the Willamette Valley story. (You can read about it in Full Pull’s inaugural DDO offering, which reached some of your inboxes over six years ago.) The next chapter of that story is Roserock. And as a special treat—a reoffer of one of the absolute finest Chardonnays in Oregon:Originally offered April 11, 2018. Excerpts from the original: The 2015 Roserock Chardonnay is sourced from three different blocks on the estate, all handpicked and sorted. Pressed together, the juice is then separated and fermented equally in tank and barrel. After, they are blended together again to make the final cuvée. The result is a nose ripe with fresh picked apples, apricots, blooming white gladiolas, and english biscuits. The palate brings citrus (sweet lemon), stone fruit, roasted nuts, and a touch of spice—all along a backbone of minerality and understated richness. The listed alcohol is 13.9%. Vinous: Copyrighted material withheld.
