  August 9, 2019 - Needed to try this again, possibly the retailer's last bottle, sadly. Strawberry juice colour. Not massively expressive nose, sweet with pink fruits. Sweet taste, but paired with a good supple acidity. A touch floral, with lots of cassis. Very tasty but overpriced. [Cork + cage; 7.5% abv; The Bon Vivant's Companion Edinburgh, £22].

  June 3, 2019 - Deep rose pink. Delightful, rather sweet nose, with strawberry and raspberry, a touch jammy, with a little caramel. The taste is similar - very juicy, with a fruit purity and lovely sweetness. The acidity is good, and it has an intensity that is very appealing and raises it above something frivolous. I've not had anything quite like this, and it's lovely, aside from the price. Perfect for summer. Méthode ancestrale, demi-sec. [Cork + cage; 7.5% abv; The Bon Vivant's Companion, Edinburgh, £22].

  7°, pureté, douceur et fraicheur, pas du tout artificiel, sur la groseille, le calcaire. Bel equilibre, digeste et séduisant. Belle surprise.
