Deep red with a great nose of plum and white pepper. Has a rustic warmth, with good finish and attractively velvety palate. Very drinkable! Great with steak, strong flavours, pasta (obviously) but can be easily drunk alone. -

September 9, 2018 - Such great value. A mouth-filling, juicy, warming,wine with lots of lovely cherry, dark fruit, and spice. Well-balanced - in particular, the alcohol seemed just right. Good with spaghetti and ragu sauce.

February 18, 2018 - Red and black cherry, spices, light to medium body but lots of character with intense cherry, spice and pepper which lingers long in the mouth. Big thumbs up from my wife. Excellent wine for the price, £25 at The Ox restaurant in Bristol.
