January 26, 2020 - WSET Level 3; 11/3/2019-2/3/2020 (San Diego, CA): Currently, this is quite tart. Some apple, citrus, gooseberry, grassy/herbaceous, and mineral notes. But that high acid has quite a stranglehold on it. Missing the smokiness that should be more prevalent. Tasted blind with MW Pomeroy and she felt the same - even going so far to identify it as a young Semillon or Muscadet.

July 10, 2019 - Light golden in color. Full, fragrant & attractive nose of fresh ripe fruit aromas of citrus notes of lemons/limes, apples & gooseberries with overtones of mineral & limestone notes, some grassiness & a hint of smokiness in the background. Medium-light bodied with a very good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, ripe fruit flavors of lemons/limes & grapefruit with minerals. Lingering finish. Drinks quite well at present but should develop with another year or two of additional aging.

April 24, 2019 - Decanted and consumed over 1 hour. The wine improved with air and became more expressive. Light nose of citrus and stones. Flavors of lemon and lime, stones, with a moderate length finish. A touch riper, but not obviously so. Light-moderate conplexity. Very drinkable. This will drink well over the next several years.

November 25, 2018 - A classical Pouilly-Fume with notes of lime, limegrass, maracuia, as well as flinty notes. The dusty mineral nose and palate is what stands out.
High acidity and quite a long finish. Pleasurable drink and good tasting experience. -

November 21, 2018 - Quite ripe, a bit too sweet for my taste. Missing some acidity and minerallity. Might be from a hot year? Not what I'd hope from a Pouilly-Fume
