September 17, 2021 - Popped and poured. Impressive dark garnet color. Gentle cherry aromas. Piquant cherry in the mouth, not terribly complex, but very pleasant, if somewhat hollow. I'd drink this sooner rather than later while it is still fresh with good stuffing. 5-10-15-7: 87/100.

February 27, 2019 - Opened last night. Decent Chianti, not a blockbuster. Well-colored, translucent. Candied aromas of strawberry and cherry. Firm on the palate with good acidity, it showcases dark fruit and sour cherry. Threw a fair bit of fine sediment. Not sure what the future holds. 4-11-15-7: 87/100.

February 16, 2019 - Appears sweeter and more alcoholic than a year ago. The fruit is plush and tannins are ripe but the acidity isn't high enough to mask the 14% of alcohol. Better drink up while there's some youthful freshness left.
