November 23, 2022 - Still enjoyable but on the decline now. Drink up!

October 29, 2021 - Wine pours to a dark red color in glass. Intense aromas of dark fruit and spice. Tastes of blackberry, blackcurrants, pepper and spice. Some oak peeks through. High alcohol and tannins. Very fruit forward and intense. Decanted for 45 minutes (could have used more time but aroma was too good and got poured). High price, but a very quality wine.

March 15, 2020 - Wine pours to a rich ruby red color on rim of glass. Aromas of dark fruit. Tastes of blackberry and other dark fruits. Wine is fruit forward with a large body, and was very smooth. Good Napa Merlot but does have a large price tag for what it is. Even so, a good wine. Recommend for merlot lovers.

November 23, 2019 - I am neutral about wines like this, so over ripe and overly oak flavored that whatever variety it is meaningless. High in alcohol and thick in body it really does not add much to the meal. We also opened a similar Barbara. There are people that seem to like these expensive parodies of wine, I’ll pass.

January 10, 2019 - Aroma of blackberry. Medium body. Not very complex. Flavorful with blackberry dominant, plus raspberry, vanilla, spice, and earthy notes. Medium tannin. Medium finish for the fruit flavors, but additional lingering for the spice. Enjoyable. 91 - 92.
