September 9, 2023 - Nose of strawberry and garrigue.
On the palate, I was expecting a full-bodied wine, but in the end it was more in the elegant register, with blackcurrant and strawberry, on a finely spicy background. It remains dynamic and fine, with a nice acidity and texture. Good fruity finish but short length.
Nice wine for friends, but I expected more complexity. -

August 22, 2021 - Classic Corsican - in the best way. Soft aromas. Dark berries, a little bit of cedar, minerals. There’s a little bit of texture too, a little bit of tannin, and all those same aromas flow right on through to the mouth.

May 23, 2021 - Light garnet, very nice color. Muted nose. Notes of perfectly sweet strawberries dominate with spiced red plums. Delicious.

January 24, 2021 - Opened and decanted 2 hours ahead of roasted sausages, potatoes, and Brussels sprouts. Dark, murky, crimson-purple color. The nose brings Grenache notes of sweet, rich cherry-kirsch, molasses, and blackcurrant with whiffs of garrigue, cinnamon spice, and creme de cassis. The palate is medium-full, square, dense, and textured, bringing deep blackberries, huckleberries, black cherries, dark chocolate, soy, sweet tobacco, crushed granite, and scattered mint into a sandy, tannic finish. The palate delivers lovely acidity and loads of minerality which makes this wine more nimble than at first glance. Drink 2022-2030. Technical score: 92. Enjoyment score: 91.
