February 26, 2022 - 4th Saturday Group Cellar Diminishment (Sue’s): It's always a treat to taste these Rubicon wines. Leather, cedar and currant. Currant and cherry fruit with soft tannins on the palate. Balanced. Drinking very well. (SS)

July 19, 2014 - PnP w/1 hour decant, just under room temp, slight light sediments. Deep purple/red color with nice legs. WOTN, delicious stuff at the proper drinking window. Med body, intense flavor profile of classic CA Cab. Good balance, long finish, nothing off. Great wine.

August 14, 2011 - Nice deep garnet color, vanilla and chocolate on the nose. Nice acid structure and good finish, but kind of short. Flavors of ripe berries, tobacco, and citrus on the palate. Paired really well with venison.
