August 11, 2022 - Ballistic Barbaresco and Barolo Tasting (PNV): Orange peel, strawberry and cherry on the nose. Drinking great right now with a mix of sweet fruit, acidity and savoury texture. Medium length with plenty of interest to it.

Decanted briefly.
Dark ruby color. Nose fruity with notes of roses and black cherries. Palate predominantly cherries, a polished sense to their flavor; some tannins, high acidity. Delicate and impressive balance, very good with a slightly smoky whole plate short rib. Young obviously but with the right match for its tannins can be drinkable now. 91 pts with upside. -

November 25, 2017 - Open on the nose, and beautifully defined: rose petals, fresh raspberries, english liquorice, soft leather. Fairly light-bodied and slender with nice flavour intensity, tender grip and a salty mineral finish. Very attractive off-vintage barbaresco that drinks really well now, and probably over the next five.
