Community Tasting Notes 4

October 20, 2008 - Simple Italian table red. Nothing special and not much in the way of aromas or fruit but still a very drinkable wine with a meal.

May 27, 2008 - A little tight. Scents of leather and black berry. Taste of black berry, nice lingering taste.

February 4, 2008 - Bottle was a gift. Color was fine. Nose offered only a faint hint of oak. There is no fruit to be had in this wine at all. Dusty taste with an astringent finish and absolutely nothing else. Tried splash decanting and tasting again, then poured the rest down the sink.

July 12, 2007 - Soft style of sangio, with ripe red cherry, high acidity, and moderate tannins. Very simple, but offers an inexpensive substitute of Chianti.
