  November 20, 2023 - We enjoyed this wine over two days with an assortment of Spanish meats, cheeses, and garnishes. Dark garnet, almost into brown, and discernibly closed on day 1 but still delicious with all the meats and cheeses - splendid on day 2! Dry wine with dark cooked fruit, over-their-prime violets, cedar, pepper and a mineral edge on the back palate, plush tannins, med-long finish. Having this perfect weekday wine with the right food and at the right temp is key to really enjoying it.

  October 30, 2019 - Tastes really good. Black berries, Black peber, liquerice with a hint of minerals and spices. Good structure. Stilles has some bite. Goood aftertaste. Perhaps it lacks a bit more depth to get Max score. But I still like it a lot.

  January 25, 2019 - Decanted for an hour or so. Dark fruits and floral notes on the nose. Medium to full bodied wine with prominent but still well balanced and pleasant tannin. Overall richer and more full bodied than I expected for this southern Rhone wine. Recommend but definitely benefits from decanting and time before consumption.
