Community Tasting Notes 3

  • Bwalter17 Does not like this wine: 87 points

April 25, 2023 - Unpleasant heaviness to the wine. Seems like higher alcohol than 13.5.

June 3, 2020 - Its funny how you remember things. I remembered this wine to really stand out amongst a lot of Cali Pinots. This bottle was a very good wine but had the same cola profile like tons of the Cali Pinot. Too expensive for what it was. The Chardonnays are much better

April 12, 2017 - This wine has a dense and chewy profile but without sweetness and jammy notes. There are also some earthy notes and mushrooms combined with some dark minerals and herbs. The tannic structure has firmness and the acidity is cool and well needed to make sure the wine stays energetic. This is a very dense and complex Pinot Noir, especially considering that this is a producer that avoids overripe fruit.
