April 8, 2024 - Old world wine with new world fruit. Classic old world barnyard bite followed by an explosion of dark cherry fruit. Great complexity and structure, long finish leaves yo hanging for the next sip. Agree with all comments about great value here.

November 14, 2021 - Bought a bottle just to try. Decanted two hours. No mistaking an Old World nose of dirt, must, mold & wet leaves. First sip was an explosion of red fruits. Medium mouth feel and heavier than I expected. Great QPR at $35. I think it’s just as good as their Saffredi which costs much more. Nice lingering finish. Paired with Char Siu marinated cross cut ribs which was a nice pairing. No hesitation at this price. Good for a different expression of Sangiovese relative to Brunello or Chianti.

Cherries, spices a hint of smoke, perfect with artichokes.
