November 12, 2020 - Not a fan of this wine. Bright red and black fruit on the nose, plus high alcohol, which is also very evident on the palate. An almost overpowering, almost sweet flavor, but with tartness as well. Sugared pomegranate? Not a lot of complexity. Plenty of body, short finish except for the lingering alcohol. Decanted 2 hours.

November 23, 2018 - Tasted next to 2014 Mount Veeder Cabernet. A bit riper on the nose, spicy, notes of tobacco, cocoa powder on the nose. Mineral on the palate, good blance - fresh, generous, nice tannic grip. Good length. 90-92
