Community Tasting Notes 2

November 18, 2020 - Gorgeous pale+ ruby. Subtle complex nose of red berries, dried flowers, grapefruit rind, touch of baking spices. Balanced and understated on the palate; smooth, elegant, with the suggestion of California ripeness (as opposed to French nervous energy); mild tannins and decent acidity. Very well done.

April 13, 2019 - Light ruby in the glass with a good degree of clarity. The nose doesn’t say much beyond hints of cherry and caramel.

On the palate the wine is fresh and lively, delicious from the start. Cranberry and cherry are the dominant flavors with a floral element in the background, like “drinking what you smell in a floral perfume.” There’s a modest acidity and light tannins.

Incredibly pretty and totally enjoyable! Thrilled to be members of PH.
