February 3, 2019 - Gwertz, Reisling, Pinot Blanc and Pinot Auxerrois.
Colour medium yellow-gold. Lots of ripe fruit present on nose with aromas of lychee, peaches, red apples (and pineapple?). Flavours of fruit mix with burnt butter. Full mouthfeel with long burnt oak and almost petroleum finish. Flavours seem unbalanced and/or overly manipulated.
We have enjoyed older vintages of this wine a lot, but recent vintages have disappointed with each flavour presenting itself alone versus a harmonious blend. -

November 5, 2017 - Easy to drink, low alcohol, Gentil-like wine. Dominant Gewurztraminer aromas on the nose, bright acidity. Nothing complicated. Maybe a bit expensive at $24.
