  June 16, 2019 - Chenin study (et al.) (Chicago, IL): The relatively generous fruit character of the vintage shows, with the fruitiness in this wine lending a hint of sweetness here. Nonetheless, there is good delineation and precision, with a moderate bit of minerality and a good hit of acidity. Not complex, but definitely an expression of chenin unobscured by a producer's heavy hand.

  November 9, 2017 - Beautifully delineated expression of chenin. Nose features lime-inflected citrus, quince, seashell, and faint petrol. Lovely soft and mouth coating texture, almost but not quite oily, that rewards rolling each sip over, under sideways and down across the palate to catch it all. Finish is dry and soft but braced with enough acidity to sustain a long pleasant, faintly metallic aftertaste and a perceptible pithiness. I think I've written about an earlier vintage and of course I don't remember what I said but I'd be surprised if I didn't like that one too. Really good stuff.
