August 11, 2013 - Deep gold. Oak nose. Rich, lively, a bit too sweet. Hint of age custard. Lively but sweetness detracts. Ei liked.

    April 4, 2011 - 4/11 Heavy oak - off-balanced - light fruit. 89 pts

March 4, 2011 - A bit past its prime. Nose was fairly flat, though it has received a slight lanolin touch to complement oak's vanilla notes. On the palate, the usual Pride balance is gone- almost no acidity to speak of at this point, and not what I was hoping for- but a bit of petrol on the finish is a nice bonus. Would only want to have this with a richer styled fish/chicken dish.

February 17, 2011 - Big, but still balanced.

November 19, 2010 - Was afraid based on past experience with Pride chards that this might be over the hill. Not at all. Still a little more oaky and buttery than I prefer but nice for its style. A little lanolin and pear on the nose. Similar flavors on the palate. Long finish.
