June 7, 2010 - bright with slight darkening towards the edge. Tar and briars on the nose, tannins adding a nice bite to the restrained fruit - definitely Rhone style, lasting well, probably better for the extra bottle age

May 17, 2007 - Got this wine really cheap, around $17 from the PALCB on a Chairmans selection. Still has some resounding tannins. Lots of lead pencil and dark red fruit folllowed by a touch of brett. Maybe a bit corked as well although not bad.

October 29, 2005 - A lovely wine. Some oak, cherry at the finish, a great nose -- really nice depth to it. THe bottle talks about “currant”; whatever it is, it has depth and body to it. Got better the m ore it sat. Served with steak and baked potato. A very nice bottle
