March 24, 2024 - Decanted 2 hours. Upon decaninting impressive deep purple hur w/lovely dark berry aroma. Intial pour showed nicely balanced full legs with distinctive blackberry nose. Wine opens to light lead pencil & plum profile. Finish is nicely oaked and paired well with Grilled Lamb Chops. The price to value ratio is terrific.

November 29, 2023 - Auge: Klares, intensives purpurrot
Nase: Sauber. Mittlere Aromen von Brombeer, Vanille, marmeladig, Eucalyptus, Zedernholz, Cassis. Erste Reifenoten.
Gaumen: Trocken, mittlere Säure, mittlerer Alkohol 13.5%, voller Körper mit intensiven Aromen im blaubeerigen Bereich, langer Abgang.
Sehr gute Qualität. Toll balancierter Wein. Gutes Säuregerüst mit viel Druck im Gaumen. Tannin braucht noch etwas Zeit, ist gute Qualität, aber noch rauh. Kann getrunken werden, hat noch 5-7 Jahre Reifepotential und dann weitere 5 Jahre Lagerpotential.1 person found this helpful Comment -

October 15, 2023 - Très beau cru, très agréable. Les notes de torréfaction et le fruit sont dominants. Beaucoup de chêne à l'ouverture avec une astringence qui se fond dans le vin après une attente de 2h en bouteille ouverte. Plus agréable par la suite. Je dirais qu'il est à revisiter dans 3-5 ans, avec un petit potentiel d'amélioration.
