February 15, 2020 - Casa di Terra's 2013 Mosaico is an opaque garnet blend of 60% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Franc and 10% Petit Verdot. Packed with black currant and red cherry fruit, it is a full-bodied, plush-textured wine with supportive notes of cedar, licorice and dried herbs. With fresh acidity, nicely integrated alcohol (listed as 14%), ample fine-grained tannins and soft oak, it stays plump on the mid-palate and finishes with impressive length. This is showing beautifully and should continue to do so for another 5-6 years. Drink now-2026.

From Bolgheri, Tuscany. 60% merlot, 20% cabernet franc, 10% petit verdot 12 months in French oak.
Medium body, black fruits and cinnamon. Long chewy aftertaste. -

AROMA: Lots of woody characteristics with some dirt and soil on the nose. Cherry with some white pepper and rose water as well
TASTE: Big tannins, but a fairly short finish (30 seconds max) showing notes of black fruit and currants -
