July 17, 2020 - Sooo disappointing. Simple red fruit flavours. Concentration of flavours is light. No complexity whatsoever. As mentioned by fellow taster, similar to a simple Bourgogne rouge.

July 12, 2020 - Coravin. Light ruby with slight bricking; medium intensity aromatics with some elegant red fruit; palate is light bodied, light integrated tannin, low-medium 13% alcohol, medium-plus acidity, red fruit, not much depth beyond the fruit; finish has medium length. Balanced well enough, but lacks site-specific character (nothing at all says Volnay... I would have guessed basic bourgogne rouge) or depth. I bought this at discount, but there are still better wines out there for $30. 86-87
    1 hour in: essentially unchanged.

November 28, 2019 - Fragrant, with primarily red fruit, a bit dry, with some chalk and leather. A decent village Volnay that is still on the young side.

November 17, 2019 - Drank at Jason's house with chinese food. Was busy mingling so didnt get to really focus on the wine. Wine was very light, had spice at the end. Delicate. A bit too singular and thin for my preference. Not bad but I think there are better options out there for the same price.

November 4, 2018 - Oenocosmos Wine Fair (Intercontinental Hotel): Tight, higher acidity, red fruit, the oak is more upfront, sweet spices, med body, med to long finish, quite young but nice
