December 29, 2016 - Definitely NOT to be confused with an actual Pomerol. Lalande de Pomerol is a region next to Pomerol. The blend in this bottle mostly Merlot so it has ripe dried current, plum and black cherry flavors but lacks any real depth and body. I've had better Chilean Merlot. It has a pleasant cleansing dryness to it and it is only lightly tannic due to the small portion of Cabernet Sauvignon in the blend. The other portion of Cabernet Franc adds the expected floral and sweetness along with typical lack of follow through or lingering flavor.

April 11, 2015 - Not worth it. Red water with bitters

September 6, 2014 - Bought 6 bottles of this because it seemed (by the ratings) to have a fairly good PQR. Only one bottle has been interesting to drink. The others have been very one dimensional and disappointing.

May 18, 2014 - Nice smooth easy drinking. Not much depth. Silky finish.

August 27, 2012 - No QPR here. Rather flat with light blackberry.
