April 16, 2021 - Brought this to Wakanui Grill Dining to celebrate a birthday with my university mates. We had grilled octopus, Hokkaido scallops, Red Snapper Carpaccio, spring lamb chop, and grass-fed fillet.

Brick red in colour with a mature nose of dark red fruits, lacquer, dark chocolate and some grounded coffee and mocha. Mature, elegant with good structure and balance.

Probably in its prime and will not evolve further.

November 2, 2020 - Warmer Wein aus warmem Jg
Kein Holz mehr. Harmonisch, nicht groß. Läßt sich nicht unbedingt als 5e erkennen. Trinkig. Kellerkühl

December 21, 2013 - Surprisingly good, in the context of the vintage and bearing in mind how awful Croizet can be. Very spicy blackcurrant fruit, with a slightly overcooked taste and aromas. The finish is as short as others, it's overcooked and over-concentrated, but there are none of the burnt flavours I was expecting. Atypical and odd certainly, but not unpleasant.

February 11, 2010 - certainly not one of the best GCC to say it in a gentle way, but surprised me a bit, was better as 2 years ago

August 1, 2008 - Popped and drank. Very oaky smell with black fruit and currant, tasted better than I expected but no huge surprises. It didn't have that massive fruity taste, but very elegant and well made. Medium finish. Well balanced. I enjoyed the first two glasses but not as much after that. It's more like a daily wine but probably wouldn't buy it again, even for a good vintage.
