October 27, 2019 - (Mostly) Chenin Night: Wow, this was fascinating. Chalky, briny, natty but also fresh, clean, showing candied citrus peels and chalky, white tea, briny, almond notes. Delicious.

A sharp yet very juicy biodynamic and natural wine made with Cortese grapes. Difficult to place it blind in the Piedmont.
First nose is butter and sunflower seeds oil, paired with burnt matches, all coming together in precise and sharp palate that gradually gains more depth.
Drink 12°C, sharpness is best when it’s cold. -

October 13, 2017 - Made from Cortese.
Apparently an orange wine, but it is more golden than orange. Quite juicy w. high acid and a harmonious finish. But the acidity keeps going on and on.
My notes: Green grapes, galia, mint, herbs, marzipan, tea, dried apricots, grapefruits, lime, banana bon-bon, hay and popcorn. -

May 30, 2017 - Artig bekjentskap, men har egentlig ikke noe vokabular for dette. Det lukter først og fremst stall, men det er noe annet der også som jeg ikke får fatt på. Frisk i munnen, kanskje noe røykpreg a la assyrtiko fra san Torino. Mildt brett-preg som blir sterkere etterhvert. Funker fint til mat, litt ekstrem uten, særlig med tid. Best balanse rett fra flaska.
