April 1, 2024 - I rarely have a white from Southern France that I really love, but this was really great. Lovely ripe tropical fruits, just about enough acidity to keep things interesting and make you want that next sip, lots of intensity. Nice!

October 8, 2023 - Rich and opulent, peach, mandarin, fresh herbal notes. Superb mineral tones, round and long. Great wine.

August 11, 2023 - Always such a singular wine. It has the weight and richness of a white Rhône, with the acid and mineral tension of a great white burg. I like to say “Chaveneau.” It’s stunningly aromatic with layered depth and complexity, wafting from the glass with ripe tropical fruit, hazelnut, wildflower honey and pastry cream. The palate is rich and intense, but retains focus and balance along with killer volume, an elegant texture and excellent length. I continue to prefer GDP blanc to the rouge.

August 9, 2023 - What a seductive nose, clearly not burgundy, on the palate this went well with the seafood, but this bottle is not as refined as the 2009 or the 2018.

May 28, 2023 - Burgundy like aromas with smoke, flint and some oak. Rich and concentrated like Rhône. Really impressive!
