September 12, 2018 - Typical opaque deep purple color, dense & flavorful, we like this as a desert wine. PNP, it did not seem to demand decanting, which surprised me a bit. We enjoyed with dark chocolate cake, berries and vanilla ice cream. Drinkable now, likely will benefit from additional aging. Fortunately we have 2 bottles left.
