December 2, 2022 - One-hour decant through a screened and aerating funnel. Bold dark berry aromas during decant. No sediment. After resting: lots of dark fruits (blackberry, plum and boysenberry) and toast. Smooth wine featuring the aforementioned fruits and a mineral edge. Went well with both steaks and a garlic cheese stuffed chicken breast. Nice finish. Will last a while. Glad I bought a case.

This was a pretty typical Napa cab, less in your face than usual .
