    October 15, 2018 - P&P
med ruby red; nice nose of red cherry fading into a lite anise,Asian spices red currant, and pomegranate, also a little menthol( -1 pt);flavors on the palate pick up right where the bouquet ends, elegant but full bodied PN; med long, dry and dusty finish. A serious food wine at it's peak balance between fruit and tertiary character now. Expect it to get better if you like aged wines.

May 14, 2018 - Another 3 hour lunch with the crew. This wine really started to sing around hour 2, revealing a transparency that can only come with age. Notes of cranberries, strawberries, and raspberries, backed by a wet stones and crushed shells. Not super complex but a clean and lively wine that doesn't fatigue that palate. Lovely stuff.

December 28, 2013 - P&P for Xmas dinner. Needed a lighter wine for my wife. She and guests loved it.

April 25, 2013 - Still drinking nicely but it has lost it's incredible nose and bright fruit.

October 1, 2012 - Saw the notes that this needs to be opened, so I did. Was quite pleasantly surprised. Had with dinner on Sat night. Still had some tart fruit, spice, earth. We didn't finish, so I corked the bottle, put in wine fridge, opened Sunday night. Had about two small glasses left - nothing! Completely lost everything. So, if you have this open it, and finish it. Pop-and-pour; don't decant, and don't leave any behind. But again, that said, during dinner, and for part of the evening, it was a very nice wine.
