February 12, 2023 - Brought by a friend to Super Bowl Sunday which was now a week ago so hard to remember the details. But I really liked this wine. Very open and approachable after a short decant (30-60 min?) dark fruited, some leather and other attributes I can’t remember (the point being it was not all primary fruit and had some great beginnings of tertiary development). I am still trying to understand the IGT landscape before our upcoming trip to Tuscany but this is one I would look out for.

August 6, 2019 - Dichtes, funkelndes Rubinrot. Eine Traumnase nach Herzkirschen, Brombeeren, Tropenhölzer, feinste Kräuterwürze. Am Gaumen tolle Balance. Ein berauschender Fruchtdruck, tolle Säurestruktur. Hier wieder Kirschen und auch etwas Zwetschken. Ein grossartiger Bolgheri in erster Reife.

May 14, 2018 - We shipped this back from Italy and finally popped one open. Nice dark fruit with hints of sage, roasted meats, and a smidge of charcoal. It had great depth and mouthfeel with a long finish. Opened up surprisingly quickly too, although we were chasing a tight brunello. I highly recommend if you can find it.
