February 16, 2017 - Past prime, but I was still surprised at how much this offered. It was Madeira-like. Raisins, spice, medium to dark garnet color, well integrated, but I would definitely prefer more fruit.

August 18, 2012 - Drank directly from bottle. Some deposit, nice garnet colour, no sign of bricking. Very syrup-like but no excessively so. Taste and texture similar to mature vintage. No complexity. Pleasant but would have been better younger with more grip and less mature flavours. One bottle left (part of my 'how-long-can-unfiltered-LBV-last' project). Good.
